LeMay Collection

Harold LeMay was a collector of all cars. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a certifiable Obsessive/compulsive order.

No one seems to know the true # of cars in the colleciton - most tend to estimate it at 3500 complete cars, many more partial cars, plus a good number of fire trucks, buses, tow trucks, etc. etc. including a tank.

Every form, every make, every model seemed to be interesting enough to consume.

One small chunk is housed at his house (300 cars), another small chunk on the 80 acres he got when he bought out an old catholic military school (every nook and cranny of the school is filled with automobiles + large hangars in the back + some locomotives).... wierd collection, wierder setting, but very cool indeed.
